Use of the Voice When Hypnotising a Client

The chief agent in developing a hypnotic trance is the voice of the hypnotist. Whether that voice is normally high-pitched or lowpitched is a minor factor.

The important thing to remember is operator can move in a controlled fashion through the various phases that make up the hypnotic pattern by following a few simple voice techniques. If the operator expresses confidence and assurance in speaking he need not concern himself with pitch.
